2) SEA SHEPARD CONSERVATION SOCIETY:

 

This organization focuses on preserving marine life. The volunteers live in ships and stop cruel practices such as whaling by mooring their boats in between Japanese whalers and the endangered whales.

 

In order to support this organization, Lush made soaps in the shape of whales and all profits made from selling these soaps went towards the Sea Shepard Conservation Society. Lush also supplied all the volunteers with free shampoo and soaps during their stay in these ships.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LUSH AND ANTI-ANIMAL TESTING POLICY:

 

Lush are highly against animal testing. They choose to test their products on volunteering humans over animals.

 

They make all their suppliers sign a waiver/ contract, which states that they must also follow the same ethical standards and must not test any of the ingredients on animals.

 

They also conduct spot checks on people that they buy from in order to ensure products and ingredients are being sourced ethically.
